The largest I can find is called "logs" which contains 18.9 GBs. Followed by "winsxs" with 13.5 GBs and finally "system 32" with 14.5 GBs. Hope this helps. Les
The Logs folder is much too large. I would open an elevatedCommand Prompt, then do this:
- Rename it to Logs.bad
- Create a new Logs folder.
- Wait a week.
- If all is well, delete Logs.bad from an elevated Command prompt.
My own Winsxs folder is 5.7 GBytes in size. I do not know why yours should be 2.5 times larger. Maybe you can find out by checking out the numerous discussions you will find with a Google search.
My System32 folder is 5.3 GBytes in size. Yours is almost 3 times larger. How do its subfolders compare to mine?
