Windows Update error 80070246

Hello,

I have a problem with windows update not functioning. Checking for updates results in error code 80070246.

Windows Update Troubleshooter states that problem cannot be identified.

Sfc /scannow results in:

Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.

System Update Readiness Tool log:

CheckSUR.log

CBS.log:

CBS.log

Windows for home | Windows 11 | Windows update

    Hi,

    Running the troubleshooter from the link produces this error.

    The troubleshooter from Control Panel, after a very long proces of checking for updates, reports that it could not identify the problem with Windows Update.

    Hi,

    Thank you for providing details about your issue. Just to verify, have you tried using the Windows Update Troubleshooter?

    Here's the link where you can download the troubleshooter. After the troubleshooter is done, try running Windows Update again and install any available updates.
