Those scams are all over the web. It's disappointing so many people fall for them too. I think it's the fear that makes people fall for it. I feel like as long as people keep falling for them, more and more will come.
Error 895
when i received this message, I called the number and the guy said i had to turn over control of my 'puter. i said NO!!! he insisted and said i could no longer use it until he accessed it. i said good i am thinking of shutting it down and no longer using a 'puter again. i am not joking. have had enough of all this annoying stuff and would rather read a book or ride a horse!!!!!!!
he hung up on me and my 'puter returned to normal. i ran security tests and found nothing.
poor lonely fella his time will come:)

2017-03-21T12:21:55+00:00 What you received was a scam. Receiving the message does not install malware on your computer. Malware is installed on your computer only when you allow access to your computer by the person. You handled the situation quite well by saying no. The best course of action would have been not to call the number, but nothing happened to you or your computer.
