It's a common scam. Click the OK button at the bottom of the popup. You should then see a box Do not allow this site to create new pages. Check it and then close the window.

If that doesn't work, for Edge, follow the instructions by

      For all other browsers:

Use the Task Manager to exit the browser. Reboot and see if the

    Scam.

Use Task Manager to End Task your browser(s).  Do not restore your browser session when you reopen it.

Also, please consider running the following:

    https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/

If the AdwCleaner scan finds something, before clicking 'Clean', click 'Tools' - 'Options' and check all the boxes, click 'OK', then click 'Clean".

    Also, Run Malwarebytes (Free).

    https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/

Run an online scanner like eset:

    https://www.eset.com/us/home/online-scanner/

    or other respected scans.
