If you know "the error message that you received only appears if you encounter a blue screen" doesn't it make sense for you to get the crash dump file(s) and perform an analysis of the crash dump files?
Crash Dump Analysis Please
Folks, all of a sudden my desktop Win 7 machine crashed ! Could someone help figure out why?
I ran Who Crashed and will put it's result below, and I also have the dmp file.
Thought I had a pretty good computer setup, I hope this is fixable!
On Sat 5/20/2017 5:44:42 PM your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\052017-8502-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x6F4C0)
Bugcheck code: 0x1A (0x41790, 0xFFFFFA8005892E10, 0xFFFF, 0x0)
Error: MEMORY\_MANAGEMENT
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a severe memory management error occurred.
This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules. This problem might also be caused because of overheating (thermal issue).
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

2017-05-22T08:21:05+00:00 When your computer crashed, did you just receive this error message or did you receive a blue screen with the error message? The reason we are verifying this is because the error message that you received only appears if you encounter a blue screen.
Give us an update on the result and we will be glad to assist you further.
