"Outlook is using an old copy of your Outlook data file..." in ODFC container

I'm in the process of testing our next XenDesktop image, where we go from Office 2016 Pro to Office 365. We are currently utilizing both Profile and ODFC containers, and the only item stored in the ODFC container is the .OST file. All images are running FSLogix 2.9.7349.30108. Here's what I'm seeing:

  1. Login to Office 2016 image, Outlook launches fine and is up to date
  2. Logoff
  3. Login to Office 365 image with the same profile, and when Outlook launches I receive an error message stating Outlook is using an old copy of your Outlook data file (.ost). Exit Outlook, delete the file, and restart Outlook. A new file will be automatically created the next time you initiate a send/receive

Obviously, the easy way out is to simply delete the ODFC container and let the users cache their mail again, but I'm only seeing this in our XD environment with FSLogix. Has anyone run across this before and found a solution?
