I was installing and updating Windows updates, installing Office 365 on a brand new laptop and somewhere in the process the Windows application error appeared 0xc06d0007e.

I carried on and finished the updates, etc.

What does this code mean?  Is it anything to be concerned about?  What do I do?  Shall I just carry on unless it occurs again?

Thank you.

    Hi Tracy,

The error code 0xC06D007E is sometimes caused by an incorrect set of settings for the program that you are trying to use. Since you completed the update for Office 365, it helps us fix the issue on its own by aligning the correct settings for Office 365.

If you need further assistance, don’t hesitate to post your query anytime.
