Hey!
Im using a Lenovo Legion Y520 laptop, Win10, and doesnt matter which microphone i use (built in, headphones, cam, basic microphone), the volume of the microphone is too high. If i lower it in the record settings when im talking, its basically raise the volume up slowly to 100, and the microphone boost (from 0.0 db to 10 d.b.). Its impossible to chat, nothing works, skype, steam chat, facebook, everything is wrong.
Things i tried. : - Record Settings/Records/Mic/Properties/Special/ uncheck the pipe from the program use for the mic. - Blocked every sound effects - Record Settings/Records/Communications, pipe the no action stuff. - Reinstalled my drivers - Uninstalled my drivers - Tried different programs and microphones
I tried everything.. im exhausted. Thank you for every answer.

I didnt changed anything, its a 100% fresh install. I only installed the Windows Updates. When i tried to install the Audio Driver for my laptop (from the Lenovo official site), the install didnt finished because its said "no need to install this version, because an updated version of Realtek is on this computer". I tried to delete the audio driver updated by Windows Update, then setup the official site lenovo audio driver, but the problem still exist.
Windows Version: 1709 (16299.192)
I cant get to "Set up microphone", because Windows says: Not available in my country.
Every driver is installed, and up to date.
I managed to found a temporary solution, because the official Discord Application has an option called: Automatic Gain Levels. I turned that off, and on the Discord Application, the microphone working just fine. But every othet site or app is bad, not working at all, auto adjustment killing every conversations.

To make sure all drivers are all up to date, I recommend manually downloading the latest driver from the hardware vendor’s website to confirm the one installed on your PC is updated. Outdated or incompatible drivers could cause issues such as this one.
