Hi, every time I open the Yahoo page I get an old page with this message, 'Requests to the server have been blocked by an extension.' I don't have any extensions, at lease they don't show on the dropdown for settings. I just refreshed my laptop, but to no avail??

Yes, but what do I look for? (I'm not that tech sharp) The only free apt is Avira antivirus. I have Yahoo on my desktop w/edge...before I refreshed, it was with Google. When the same old same old page of Yahoo comes up, I click on home and it brings up the currant page, which happened before too. It's no big deal, I'll just keep doing that. Thanks for your help. f

have you checked your internet options and add-ons and settings.

have you installed any free software or toolbars??

they are full of malware and can cause many bad or strange things and even ruin your system.

It happened with Yahoo as my homepage. I refreshed my laptop and it's doing it with Microsoft Edge's homepage too. What now?

Copy and paste the yahoo link here. Yes I told you it is the web page most likely.

Pick another yahoo page and save it as home page or open it and see if it does this.

What Microsoft edge homepage is that. msn.com ???? or yahoo opened in Edge????

open the new yahoo webpage and select it as your home page, if that is what is your home page. Or if just accessing Yahoo.com, use the yahoo page that does not do this
