High RAM usage without programs running.

So I updated my BIOS and after  restart I found out that my RAM ( 8 GB ) was used about 70 % even though nothing was running, I checked task manager and it showed nothing (check the pic).

I also started my PC in clean boot and checked but nothing, I did a virus scan, but nothing showed up, I disable Superfetch service but that didn't helped either.

Hope you guys can help.

My PC specs - 8GB RAM, i3, Windows 10

Oops I forgot to upload the pic here it is -

As you can see there isn't much programs running, just a browser and there's no memory leak too, the non-paged pool is few hundred MB, which I think is fine. So please help me out!

Thanks for the reply, but I already tried that, and it isn't helping me and I also tried doing a system restore , which again didn't helped.

Got it. The article lists all the the possible thing you can do to improve the performance of your device. Let's perform a clean boot to eliminate any software conflicts that might have caused the issue. Follow the steps in this article

Note: After troubleshooting, make sure to start your computer normally by referring to How to re****set the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting section of the article.

    Hi,

Would it be possible to undo the changes that you did and check if it will make a difference? Review this articleabout how to improve your PC performance. Skip the ones you already tried. Pay close attention to ReadyBoost and adjust Windows appearance to maximize performance.

Let us know how it goes.
