Any suggestions would be appreciated. These errors have been going on for at least 6 weeks (that's how far back everything goes). SFC /SCANNOW returned nothing unusual. I thought I had this fixed at one time, but it must have returned after one of the updates, and I just didn't notice it.

I have everything in Settings that has anything to do with Cortana disabled/off. I don't need it, and really don't even want it, but can't seem to get rid of it.

TIA!!

    Hello,

Do a System File check and run DISM tool and post back the results in the next reply:

    http://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2016/04/run-sys...

I mentioned in my OP that I had run SFC with no errors.

DISM came back with "No component store corruption detected."

I just did that. I think that may have been what I did before, but it probably got changed back after one of the updates. I forgot to mention I'm on v.1709 Build 16299.192.

I'll let you know if that stops the error messages.

    Thanks!
