Windows update failed, error code -939523550

Hi everyone!

When I try to update my Windows 7 32 bit It keeps failing with this error code:  -939523550

How can I solve This problem please?

Hi,

This behavior may occur if the temporary folder of Windows Update has been corrupted. We can refer to the following steps to rename this folder. Please be assured the folder will be created again when we visit the Windows Update site again.

  1. Click Start > Run and then type: cmdand press Enter.
  2. run the following command in the opened window.

net stop WuAuServ 3. Click Start > Runand then type: %windir% and press Enter. 4. In the opened folder, rename the folder SoftwareDistribution to SDold. 5. Click Start> Run and then type: cmdand press Enter. 6. Please run the following command in the opened window.

net start WuAuServ
