    Hi,

The same issue at our end, wifi keeps dropping. At the restart of Linx 12x64 tablet it connects to wifi and if you restart the linx again even within a minute it does not connects to wifi with no wifi ssid visible to connect. It seems wifi radio just does not connect to ssid automatically. In order to resolve it either one has to manually connect to ssid if it does not work then completely uninstalling the driver from device manager and re-scan for hardware changes. This solution is temp since on the same linx tablet it happens again may be in hour or after next bootup.

    Regards

    Revision 1.1

I've spoken to Linx support regarding this issue with wifi and the solution they proposed is as follows.

Use the following link to download the drivers on the following link

    http://support.linxtablets.com/Products/Linx12X64/

    They are getting a few reports that the Linx 12x64 is experiencing WiFi related issues and they have created a solution for this, see below;

     - Go to Device Manager (either through settings or search for Device Manager in the search bar).

    • Go to Network Adapters (and click on the drop down arrow to the left)
    • Select Broadcom Adapter
    • Select Advanced Tab
    • Select Bluetooth Collaboration
    • Change the Value on the right to Enable (by clicking the drop down arrow under Value)
    • Click OK

    Hi Jane,

I have a similar problem  - bought a new laptop with windows10 only 2 days ago and yesterday after an update and a reset, my wifi stopped working. I can connect through USB and create a personal hotspot on my mobile , but that's it. I've  tried any troubleshooting there is, even resetting the network drivers I got from the manufacturer's website. I've even tried 'Fresh Start' but without any result.

Btw the message coming up after troubleshooting is : 'The Broadcom 802.11ac WDI SDIO Adapter adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware-related problems'.

are you able to help, please???

    Natalia

Hi, my Intel Lynx laptop has stopped connecting to my wifi and doesn't even recognise the connection anymore. When I completed a troubleshoot it said the problem found is "the broadcom 802.11ac WDI SDIO Adapter adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware-related problems". Could you please help me to resolve this issue?

Same issue after updates.  Unisurf 14" laptop.

Broadcom 802.11ac WDI SDIO Adapter broken.

Working beautifully, MS update has broken both the wifi AND my sound (Intel, again + Everest Semiconductor)....not happy.

Instead of making everyone go through the trouble-shooter, that never works, why can't MS engineers contact the makers (Intel, Broadcom, etc), brainstorm a fix, and post the working drivers here??? It's not OUR fault!

    Hello Natalia,

As advised in the error message, it could be due to a hardware issue or incompatible driver.

Confirm the current build your Windows 10 is running, as this information is vital for us to proceed with the investigation. (Type winver into the Cortana search box, then hit Enter.)

Also, please provide the make and model of your laptop. Another factor could be—since you've completed a reset, there's a possibility that your Wi-Fi was disabled in BIOS hence the issue.

We will wait for your response.

    Regards.
