Hello, I seem to be missing the "Build" blade for my Web App Bot. It was just there last week - am I missing something or is this a bug. Thank you!

Hi all, we have refreshed the UI of the Azure Bot Service extension and we indeed removed the build blade from the Web App Bot. We moved its content and functionality (i.e. download bot code) to the Overview blade. Documentation has been updated, but there was a delay in publishing, it should be updated ASAP. Hi @Andrea Orimoto , would you be able to link me to this documentation? I normally update the bot code via Build blade that's why. Not sure how to do that now.

@Samuel John B Belarmino what do you mean that you "update the bot code via build blade"? can you give me more details on that?

If you used to download the code locally from the build blade and then deploy from your local machine, you can do the same from the Overview blade.

If you used to update the code in the online code editor (not recommended for production bots), you can still do it by visiting the connected App Service in the Azure portal, then searching for "editor" in the left navigation and finally opening the App Service Editor (Preview).
If you don't know where the connected App Service is, please look at the "Linked App Service" link in the Essentials section of the Overview blade.

Ahh yes, I normally go the second route and update the code via an online code editor. Thank you so much for the detailed steps; I was able to navigate to the code editor. I will take into consideration publishing code via deployment when this project goes into production.

Finally, I see that there's an option to connect a Github repo and update the code that way as well which is what I'm used to; is there some new documentation for that or is the process still the same?

regarding the Github question, nothing has changed. That is actually handled within the App Service, so you should be good.
