Having Trouble Installing Powershell Snapin

Question

I want to use the powershell snapin feature as I can use it to communicate to the IIS Console. When I try to download the Powershell Snapin, I get the following error, "The powershell snap-in is part of the windows operating system. please install it via 'programs and features' or 'server manager.'" I've tried looking through the documentation on how to do it but I am unable to find any answers? Can some please assist me? Thanks
