    Hi Rajeev,

    The error code 0x80070666 occurs when you cannot install a newer version of the product. To resolve this issue, we recommend following the steps provided below:

    1. Type Control Panel on the search bar and press Enter.
    2. Select Programs and Features and uninstall all the Visual C++ Redistribute items.
    3. Run Fix it tool to fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed.
    4. Check for the latest update on your Windows and install the latest patch.
    5. Reboot your device.
    6. Download C++ again.

    Please let us know the outcome. We will be glad to assist you.

    Uninstall both Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2017

    Restart, then download Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 32 and 64 bit and install both.

    Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Update 3 Redistributable (x86 and x64)

    You can then reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2017 32 and 64 bit.
