How to scan multiple pages and save in one file using Windows 10?

Question

I have a new computer, therefore Windows 10. When I try to scan multiple pages to one file I don't seem to find the app for that.

On my previous computer using Windows 7, I was able to do this using exactly the same printer.

How do I accomplish this in the less painful manner? Right now I have to scan individual pages, save, and send to others in individual files which is a burden and time-consuming, and too confusing. I can only find "Windows Fax and Scan" app.

Please advise.

I recommend you install and use the scanner software that came with your printer/scanner. Most have a multi-page scan option:

My apologies for the delay. This email got buried among the other hundreds I received. 

I downloaded my printer's drive and the multiple scanning worked the first time.
