Hello  M C

I bought my father a new small HP notebook a few months ago ..

the big windows 10  update rendered the little storage capacity full without completing the update...

Long and short of it is that i removed what i could just to have the capacity to perform a recovery..

i had to download the recovery to an external drive but somewhere along the way i seem to have lost the operating system.

the recovery goes so far and then stops .. upon restart a message 'no operating system' ..

i am about to download a windows 10 iso image ... but if i need a product key what do i do i have the serial number etc on the laptop,

but not sure if dad kept the box ..

Any help would be great

Thank you

regards

Mr Rajput
