"The credentials are correct, but the host cannot log you on for another reason. Please check if your password has expired or contact your system administrator for assistance."

But my password is not expired.

Again: Is the user in question a member of the Remote Desktop Users group?

    I don't know so I guess not.

I connect through the app on my Mac.

Yes this is a problem with remote connection.  I have no problem signing into my microsoft account but when I try to remote desktop I frequently get the message that maybe my password expired.  But my PC at work does not have a password expiration date set.  So which password has arguably expired?  This is a repeat problem.
