    Hi Vanessa,

    Thanks for your reply.

I don't have lock rotation box or anything that's called something similar.

My tablet has never had a box just options of landscape, portrait and auto.

Is there anything else you can think of ?

    Thank you

    Regards

    Eamonn

Thanks for the screenshot. Indeed, it shows that you don't have a rotation option in your Action Center. Can you get into the Settings window and see of auto rotation is available there? Also, do you have anything connected to the tablet like a keyboard? If you do, please disconnect it from the tablet and see if auto rotate will work. If you don't, please try also to turn off and then turn back on the Tablet mode.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

Thanks for the feedback, Eamonn. Try pressing the Windows key + O (the letter O) and see if it unlocks or locks autorotation. If it doesn't work, open the Action Center window and look for the screen icon. If there is a lock on it, then it means that the screen rotation is locked. Tap the icon, then turn off the lock rotation.

If in case the above options are not available, then we would like to ask for a screenshot of the Settings page and the Action Center.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Regards.

    Hi Eamonn,

The auto rotation may have been locked that's why the screen orientation doesn't change automatically. To address this problem, we need to make sure that the auto rotation lock is off and that the auto-rotate is enabled. Follow these steps:

    1. On your tablet, tap the Start menu, then choose Settings.
    2. Go to System > Display.
    3. Scroll down and set Lock rotation to Off.

Let us know if you need further help.

    Regards.
