SyncToy requires a .NET framework, apparently for both the 32- and 64-bit versions. I have downloaded the latest .NET version, but this is not recognized by SyncToy. From where can the file be accessed?

*Modified title for accuracy*

*Original title: I want to install Synctoy, but it say I need .NET framework 2.0.50727 I cant find the file online, only newer versions. Wher can I download it dfrom?*

    Hi Matt,

It seems that you need to switch on the feature update, for you to able to install the required .Net framework for the application. To do this, search Turn on Windows features on and off in the search bar and press Enter to launch the Windows Features section. Locate and click .Net Framework 3.5 (includes .Net 2.0 and 3.0) to turn it on.

After done, try reinstalling the application and check if the issue persist.

For any results, kindly update this thread.
