Old mail response problem after migration

Hello, I am currently having a major problem after an old-fashioned Exchange migration, export and import from PST. Formerly, an Exchange 2010 server with two ADs was in production. The domain was domaine.fr. A few months ago, I migrated to Exchange 2016 on a new domain: domain.local. The problem now is that users can no longer reply to old emails before migration, they get an error message back that the address does not exist. They are therefore obliged to forward the email. Do you have a solution for this problem? Thank you, Romain

Try adding the legacyExchangeDN as an X500 address with adsi.edit: http://terenceluk.blogspot.com/2013/03/enabling-users-to-reply-to-old-emails.html

sounds like an X500 issue because the domain name changed. Check this out https://www.lucid8.com/documentation/DSWebHelp/DigiScopeHelp.htm#t=TRO%2FCannot_Reply_to_old_emails_or_Modify_Calendar_Items_Post_Migration.htm

Search, Recover, & Extract Mailboxes, Folders, & Email Items from Offline Exchange Mailbox and Public Folder EDB's and Live Exchange Servers or Import/Migrate direct from Offline EDB to Any Production Exchange Server, even cross version i.e. 2003 --> 2007 --> 2010 --> 2013 --> 2016 --> 2019 --> Exchange Online with Lucid8's DigiScope
