Question

Hi there, I'm having difficulty launching several programs on my computer, such as games and photoshop. After searching around, I found it must be an error with Microsoft Redistributable 2015. The repair option was failing, so I uninstalled and now I'm attempting to reinstall, to get met with the aforementioned error. This is my log file -

It is possible that this is due to a conflict between third party antivirus software or corrupted system files. To assist you with your concern, I suggest that you disable your antivirus and check if that fixes that issue.

If the problem persists, perform the steps posted by LeeNeilHarris last December 15, 2016, on this thread to isolate the issue.
