MP Navigator V1.0 Problem

I have a Canon 8800f scanner which has worked well for years. I run windows 7 64 bit and MP Navigator V1.0. In the last week the scanner will copy a document but it will not save to the drives or desktop and I get an error message " unable to complete not enough disk space" I have 150GB free space on drive C and 500gb on an external drive. Navigator just will not save a document to any drive.

I reinstalled drivers for the scanner and for MP Navigator but no change. Also in the destination folder in MP navigator I keep getting a whole list of nonsense folders with odd figures.

The MP navigator seem to be unable to link to any folder or the desktop . I Googled the error but don't seem to have found a solution. Has anyone any ideas on this error?

    Hi Lawrence

Here is update on my MP Navigator problem. I did all the things you suggested and checked my drivers were up to date etc. Plenty of space on the hard drive and back up drive. Disk clean carried out and ran CCleaner and PcFixKit. I changed the copy button setting on the scanner (8800F) from copy to scan and also checked that I had deleted all the previously scanned documents that were sitting in My Pictures. So now I can scan documents and pics as BMP, TIFF and JPEG but it produces a blank page if I try PDF!!  So the problem is sort of fixed I think except for PDF.  Any ideas how we can fix this??

    Hi,

There's a possibility that the issue that you're experiencing is related to your scanner driver or with your computer drive. Were there any changes made to your computer prior to this issue?

To identify where the issue is coming from, let's try to update or install the recommended drivers for your device. Here's the link for your reference:

Those files sometimes the cause conflicts with files, drives and compatibility of with the programs. Kindly check this for more information on how to free up drive space:
