Windows 7 touchpad

Problem:

My windows 7 touchpad isn’t working, and when I googled this problem, nothing helpful showed up.

Backstory:

I was going on facebook to say hi to my friends. But someone unfriended me. I kinda typoed... But that doesn’t matter. I think when I was typing, I clicked something

Useful info:

I said “Why did yo unfriend me” but I kept clicking the backspace key and corrected it to yuo twice, yu once, then when I got it to say you, my touchpad stopped working and a orange light right under the spacebar lit up. I think it could have been up by backspace, or down by the touchpad. I cannot tell, because I wasn’t looking at the keys. REMEMBER: I am using windows 7. Can anyone help me?

Someone help. The light is right there in my photo, if that helps. Turn you head and you’ll see. Also, there is a white light on the scroll/num Lk key
