replace existing file"

Copy paste used to ask "file exists, replace" but suddenly in Win 10, it renames the same named file as a "copy."

No one seems to know here the option to chance this setting is.  Anyone know the answer?

    I looked & can find no setting that would change that. How are you copying the file & from where to where? It was the same for me going from C:\ to an external USB drive.
