My user profile does not appear when i boot up my computer, the screen zooms in as if the profile were prompting a password. I have attempted to enter using the built in administrator profile, but the same problem occurs. I am also apparently unable to restore/wipe my pc. Not sure how to continue with this problem, thanks in advance for any help!

ran the net user function in command prompt, and all the default profiles appear, when attempting to load my own personal profile nothing happens. the error message displayed is: The command completed with one or more errors. the thing I noticed first was that my computer's name was blank when looking at the user accounts.

Thank you for the information. If that's the case, the best option that we have is to reset your PC. You can visit this **link**regarding recovery options in Windows 10. If you already have a recovery drive just follow the steps on the Use a recovery drive to restore or reset your PC section or follow the steps provided in the Use installation media to restore or reset your PC section if you don't have one.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

I am unable to log into safe mode, either with the administrator profile loaded or without. When attempting to reset, there is no error message supplied aside from "there was a problem resetting your pc. No changes were made" which then loops back to the

    recovery environment.

Attempted to use the system scan tool, both verified and scanned. Integrity violations were found but when I attempted to use the sfc /scannow function I received the error message "windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation". I then tried to run a DISM repair, but the error message "DISM does not support servicing windows PE with the /online option."

    again, I appreciate the help!

    Hi Will,

It is possible that all your default profiles have been corrupted. However, we need to gather more information for us to provide the best solution to your concern. Kindly answer the following questions:

    • Are you able to login in safe mode?
    • When you have attempted to do a reset, what error message did you get?

Since you can access the command prompt, we suggest that you use the System File Checker tool to fix the corrupted user profile. If the SFC scan can’t resolve the issue, you may also try to use DISM scan.

    Looking forward to your reply.
