Might be due to a faulty keyboard. Can you try to use a different keyboard if you have like USB one?

When enter key is pressed to go to a different line, a bracket appears {. If the key is pressed again, the text goes to a different line but the next sentence begins with a bracket {. How do I get rid of these brackets?

Click Device Manager
Expand Keyboards
Right click keyboard
Click Uninstall
Exit Device Manager then restart, check the keyboard works again.
