Getting message" windows does'nt have a network profile for this device" when trying to connect wirelessly to a new printer.

Can't add new printer on my laptop due to the above message.

    Hi Bob. I'm Greg, a volunteer and 8 year Windows MVP here to help you.

    The problem is normally due to a Public network being set for the PC. See here: http://www.dummies.com/computers/operating-syst...

    If it's a wireless printer you can use the printer's wireless and not Windows to avoid this. Run or re-run the installation software and set the printer up as a wireless printer.

    If there are any further problems let me know and I'll provide steps for cleaning out old printer drivers to clean install the printer which works better and lasts longer.
