Hello Team, I could see in RD licensing manager total Installed RDS per user cal is showing total count 15 and available count 15 used is 0 however, Installed RDS per device cal is showing total count 20 and available count 0 used is 20. Based on above scenerio need to clarify few doubts. 1.can we use both the installed licenses at he same time i mean ( Device-based as well as user-based cal) 2.if yes process for the same to use. 3.if no why both the license( Device-based as well as user-based cal) is been installed on the server. Thanks for understanding! Regards, Azhar Shaikh

    Hi,

    1. For one RDS deployment, you can use only one Licensing mode (Per User or Per Device). That means you cannot use both device-based and user-based cal at the same time.
    2. Both the licenses (device-based as well as user-based cal) can be installed on the same server, because you can use the same licensing server to issue CALs for different RDS deployments. For example, you have two RDS deployments, one licensing mode is per user and the other is per device. You can specify the same licensing server for them, and it will issue the two types of CALs respectively for these two deployments.

    Thanks,
