Wireless mouse not working

I recently changed USB drivers using ZADIG in order to get some virtual cables working on a usb ham radio.  Now my wireless keyboard and mouse are no longer working.  I uninstalled the ham radio stuff and went through the Device Manager uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers but still the Logitech devices aren't recognized.  In Settings,  Devices it does show the Logitech keyboard but with  a driver error.  Also, upon rebooting, there is an error and the start screen says to reboot, which works.  System Restore failed to work, stating that a required file was missing.  Any suggestions.

I reinstalled the OS (win10) and the Logitech mouse and keyboard are working again.  I checked them on an old laptop running winXP and they worked fine so I knew it was in the win10 drivers.  Couldn't have my computer down while waiting for a solution so reinstall was faster.  Thank you.

    Hi Jerry,

Having damaged drivers could be a possible cause why your computer is experiencing an issue with recognizing the wireless keyboard and mouse. For us to provide an accurate resolution, we would need you to answer the following questions:

    • Which build, version and edition of Windows is installed on the computer?
    • What is the make and model of your wireless mouse and keyboard?
    • Are you experiencing the same issue even when using the wireless keyboard and mouse on other computers?
    • What was the exact error message that you've encountered when you accessed Devices in Settings?

In the meantime, we suggest running the automated troubleshooter for devices and hardware. This tool can scan and repair damaged drivers on your computer. Visit this link, click on Find and fix problems with devices and hardware and then follow the prompts to successfully run the tool. You can also use this link for further information about how to troubleshoot a wireless mouse that does not function correctly.

We are looking forward to your reply.
