windows 8 shows File: \windows\system32\drivers\vdroot.sys error

Hi got a dell laptop showing File: \windows\system32\drivers\vdroot.sys error 0xc000000f on startup, I have created a thumb drive with win 8 on it to try the recovery option/tool but it will not load into that area, and only shows the error and lists "F" key options to which none of them make a change.

When loading into the bios, I do not see the usb drive listed nor show a option to change the boot order to a drive if it was there.

Yes but in the link it shows 3 options and one of them is to "repair" mine does even show a option to do so, or show the option to install the back up cd or thumb drive. All this one is offering is try again or options for function key none of which change the effect or let me advance further.

I can boot into the bios but I can not change the boot order, it doesn't show the thumb drive there to boot from. I have ran the system diag. from the boot option menu before entering the bios and after about a hr or so it came back all good.
