How can I underline part of an email address? e.g. the opening part is George underlined & the remainder normal. The letter g is in lower case the auto correct on my laptop has altered it. Please be gentle with me, I am 79 & just learning on computers.

how can I part underline an hotmail email address? the address is a persons name & the underline is under the Christian name only. this is the umpty-umpth time I have made this query, is there actually anybody out there? does anybody actually know how to deal with this problem? is this something particularly peculiar to Windows 10? it doesn`t work using ctrl+U or with the U on the email task bar.
