folder went missing after renaming by adding a fullstop in the end of folder name

i lost my tally data folder when i added a fullstop in the end of its original name please help me recover it.. Please its very urgent that today is the last date of filing our GST return

    Windows in its native form will not allow you to add a bare full stop to the end of a file or a folder. You probably used some non-native tool or else an operating system such as Ubuntu. You now need to use the same tool to remove the full stop.

    Is the folder visible when you do this?

    1. Mark the code line below with your mouse, then copy it with Ctrl+C.
    2. Click Start, then Run, then press Ctrl+V to paste the code line.

    cmd.exe /c dir "%UserProfile%\Desktop" & pause
