hidden C:/ user file
: After a problem with outlook ,yes that repeated window that asks for your password endlessly after I had changed the password on a gmail account I saved the folder and attempted to delete the email account and start again. this failed to solve the problem however I noticed there were still PST files related to this account in folder c: users/username/ appdata/outlook.etc. Thinking no problem I will simply delete them. so I went to C: users folder/username only to find there was no appdata file visible. again no problem switch visability on...then it all went horribly wrong. after starting I watched all the files being processed saw the file appdata being made visible. however when finished all i am left with is c:/ users/ default migrated and public files. both empty however file c: users still 6GB in size in properties and no username file on c: and all icons and files related to user account now also gone... Help Help going crazy.

2018-01-18T19:11:59+00:00 Hi, Josh.
There's no way to do this as far as I know, since programs are installed in a shared location. The most you can do is create a new user account, then go in and manually remove icons and shortcuts. The programs will, of course, still be accessible from their install location.
