Activating Windows with a different language

So I downloaded and created a bootable USB installer for a new PC I'm building. I got Windows 10 Home in English (US). Now, regarding activation, as I live in Japan, the activation key I have is for a Japanese copy of Windows 10 Home (brand new of course). As my Japanese is not fluent as of yet, is it possible to use said activation key on my English copy of Windows?

Product keys are not language specific, so, it will activate as long as it is the same edition.

I don`t think there is a Windows specifically for a certain country. Just install Windows 10, then in the lower right hand corner of your screen, a little bit to the left of the clock. There is a Language Options tab. Click that and select ENG.
