I have a group of pcs running windows 10 pro and only 1 has a problem with RDP connections logging the user off immediately after connection. Not only does it not allow the connection but it completely logs the user off if they were previously logged in locally. I have tried running DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth immediately followed by sfc /scannow but the problem persists. This only started happening after I updated the PC on 2021-02-11. I have verified that fast user switching is turned on, I even made sure the swap was set to system managed and ensured that all of the rdp services are running. I don't know what else to try. None of the other PCs on my network have any problems even after the update.

There was an update of our anti-virus software on 2021-02-09 where it would block RDP by default. This was never reported to us and turning it off solved the problem. There was nothing in the Event Viewer logs to determine that I just happened to notice that the connection was dropped immediately after the start up of PCMatic anti-virus. What a pain.
