KERNELBASE.dll Error message

Recently downloaded a REX application (worldwide airports - HD) 

installed fine.

went to open the application and as i did, it just crashed on me straight away saying a fatal error occured and closed it down.

when i looked on the event viewer it said the source of the error was due to Kernelbase.dll.

any help would be apreciated,

    Hi Harry,

    It is possible that the application itself is corrupted. For us to properly isolate this Kernelbase.dll error, we have some questions for you:

    • Have you tried reinstalling the application?
    • Have you tried running System File Checker to check for any file corruption?
    • Have you tried installing the application using other user account on your computer?
