dears,

i have a windows 10 enterprise windows 10 enterprise activated using orgranization activation service
in the past days, im facing a pop out windows indicating that: your windows license will expire soon. you need to activate windows soon

i cant remember how this machine was activated previously but is activated for the moment and i am receiving the above message

can you advise on such behavior

    Are you inside your company or your are working from home?
    In case you are inside the company, your system should be activated by connecting to the company's internal server.
    However, in case you are outside the company, you might need to connect to the internal server using VPN.
    In any case, you need to check this with your company's IT department.

    outside the company since 3 months
    but why is that? i dont remember how it was activated, i dont think it was by kms server in order to be dependent on the network

    Hi,
    Looks like it is a company license and needs to be re-armed on a regular basis form the company servers.
    The gist of it is that your Windows 10 Enterprise license is a lease (usually 180 days long), and that your device is expected to periodically phone home to your organization's activation servers to renew the lease. It seems the 180 day lease is almost up.

    To renew the lease, your device needs to be connected to your organization's network so that it can communicate with the server and extend the lease/acquire a new one. Whether this means that you'll need to physically be present on your organization campus to connect, or that you can connect to the network over a VPN, you'll need to check with your admins/IT department.

    what do u mean by activation servers?
    a kms server?
    and if it wasnt the case what could it be?

    why a license needs to be renewed each 180 days, i used to license a machine once in a lifetime and thats it

    why i am facing this issue?
