The file folder I am trying to delete is from a zbox firmware driver that I downloaded years ago.

When I try to delete the file my access is denied:

I cannot view the properties:

I cannot edit the permissions:

How do I delete this folder? I am the administrator of this computer.

I am running Windows 10 Pro.

    Hi Nick,

An Access Denied error message can occur due to the following reasons: the folder ownership has changed; you do not have appropriate permissions, or the file is encrypted.

We suggest following the steps given by GuyMcCausland and Amarjeet_Paul on this thread and see if the issue will persist.

Get back to us with the outcome so we can help you out further.
