    Any version of SQL Server, including SQL 2019, which supports a database compatibility mode of 110 is supported by SharePoint 2016.

    Yes, SharePoint 2016 supports with SQL Server 2019.

    Minimum requirements for a Database server in SharePoint 2016 farm:

    • A Standard or Enterprise Edition of SQL Server for Windows that supports database compatibility level 110.
    • This includes SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2014, SQL Server 2016, SQL Server 2017, SQL Server 2019, and any future version of SQL Server for Windows that supports database compatibility level 110.
