HP is responsible for support of their product. They designed it to run Windows 10 and should continue the support following an update.
That said I'm trying to understand what you are missing following the update. Do yo know which update it is, there should be a KB number shown in update history.
According to the spec for the HP model it has 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-8550U Processor (2b) which seems to have Intel graphics UHD 620. These are the graphics drivers you should have and not MS graphics drivers. Microsoft don't make graphics hardware and the MS Display Graphics is usually what you have as a basic driver when the correct hardware driver isn't installed.
I would still check HP's website to find the correct graphics driver for your hardware. Why do you think you need a MS Display driver, what message did you get after the update.
I truly appreciate your willingness to help me through this!!
My HP does have i7 8th Gen - it does have the UHD 620 and also has the NVIDIA GeForce MX150.
So what should I be looking for on the HP driver site?
Here is my update history.
Thank you! Thank you!
