    Hi,

    See if this assists you.

    Do a System Restore to a date before you had this problem:

    "How to Do a System Restore in Windows 8 and 8.1"

    And/or go to your Laptop/Computer or Sound Card Manufacturer's website > look for the Drivers and Downloads Section > put in your Laptop Model Number > look for your Operating System > download and install the Audio, etc Drivers you find there.
