BSOD: SDBUS internal error

Hello,

My Asus VivoBook Flip TP203NA-BP064T gave me the BSOD few seconds after logging in. At that point I hadn't been using it for a week or two. The computer "gathered the information" and then restarted only to crash again in the same way, few seconds after logging in.

I managed to restart it in safe mode and got three .dmp files and MSinfo. Here's a link to them https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KcwA_2Ksn4D1D1NGMmvn3VhhYnAJsHqE/view?usp=sharing.

I don't have any system restores since the laptop is only about 2 months old. I wouldn't lose a lot of work if I'd have to wipe it and make a clean Windows install.

Thanks in advance for helping me out.

All the best,

Hákon

Actually, after a couple more restarts it looks like the last Update went through and the computer seems to be working fine. Hope it stays like that!

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi Robert,

    Thanks for your answer.

The problem with this fixes you showed is that most of them can't be run in Safe mode, which is the only mode I can boot in. Otherwise my computer crashes within 10 seconds of logging in.

I tried all the fixes and the ones that do work in Safe mode didn't show any errors.

Any ideas besides a fresh install?

    Hi,

There are no UpperFilters or LowerFilters to be found under that registry key.

    Hi,

Can you check the following registry key?:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4d36e97b-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

At that registry key, in the right window, is there, under "Name", either an UpperFilters or LowerFilters value?

If so, for each of the UpperFilters and/or LowerFilters value, what is listed under "Data"?
