The base machine is a VM and when cloning this machine to get another machine.
I am using vsphere for this.
If you understand my issue I want to know when this registry for userinit.exe is modified.

Hello Team,
I have a issue and want to understand how userinit registry works. So the below is the scenario:
I have a machine where I have modified the registry path for userinit.exe to c:\programfiles\userint\userinit.exe
I restart the machine and the path remains the same no issues.
But when I clone a machine and power it on and check for this registry key that changes as below:
c:\windows\system32\userinit.exe,c:\programfiles\userint\userinit.exe,
I want to know why this is changing and what triggers this change.

What program are you using to clone your hard drive?
Does it run under windows, like Samsung Data Migration?
