Intel bluetooth error code 19

Hi -

I have had an ongoing problem with my Intel Wireless Bluetooth.   Have uninstalled and reinstalled the device on more than a dozen occasions.  It will work perfectly until the PC is rebooted and then  not work at all until it is reinstalled.

When it's not working, I get Error Code 19 at this address: HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\USB\VID_8087&PID_0A2B\5&949bb8b&0&2\

This error occurs if I choose the driver to install or if I let Windows install the device automatically.

Is there a way to fix or work around this problem?

Thanks in advance -

Terry Davidson

HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\USB\VID_8087&PID_0A2B\5&949bb8b&0&2\

you probably find same under Control & ControlSet001  & maybe controlset002 also.

Export them to your desktop or somewhere just in case.  I wouldn't worry about deleting those on my pc,, but yours maybe somehow different, though doubtful.   The key description is basically/probably  same thing in your device manager it looks like.   Vendor ID, 8087 which i think is intel chip...product id = intel bluetooth

    Thanks for your reply.

Uninstalling and reinstalling hasn't fixed this issue - have uninstalled and reinstalled this device's drivers on more than a dozen occasions.   Have installed manufacturer's drivers (Gigabyte) as well as Intel's drivers.  Have deleted drivers and cleared  settings as well.

Have also run Microsoft Troubleshooting on this device numerous times and although the Troubleshooter claims to fix the problem, the problem returns on the next reboot.

Would manually deleting the registry entry work?

    Thanks.
