Hi,

I have some challenges when it comes to assigning apps/policy/profiles either to a device or a user.

Take for example the application Company portal that is shown in the image below.
This application I have assigned to a group of users, these users use both Windows devices and Apple devices.
What then happens as you can see from the image below, is that it shows "not applicable" for the Apple devices.
Should I assign this to a group that only contains Windows devices instead ?
I know it does not matter since its "not applicable", but it does not look I think, it should not have been there at all if its "not applicable"

What do you say ?

@andreas bright Based on my test in my lab, I find some apps like company portal which are deployed via Microsoft Store for Business (MSFB) have the same phenomenon as yours. I think the reason can be that as some apps like MSFB can support on mobile with win 10 OS. It will do scan on all the mobiles to see if it is applicable. But as the device is not with win 10 OS. It will show as not applicable.

We can safely ignore it or try the workaround you mentioned to assign the app or policy to the dedicated device group to avoid the issue.

    Hope it can help.
