Blue screen appears for a split second when coming out of sleep mode

I have a Win10 HP Spectre x360 with a Core i7 processor and 256gb SSD. When I open the lid and wake the computer up from sleep mode, a blue screen flashes once for about a second or two before the login screen appears. It doesn't seem to have any effect on my machine, but it is more of a nuisance than anything. I checked for BIOS/windows/driver updates and everything seems to be up to date. Any thoughts?

Thank you for your quick response. Possibilities that it could be a video card driver issue. To isolate, we suggest booting your PC in safe mode. Here are the steps:

    1. Press Windows key + I, select Update & security.
    2. Choose Recovery.
    3. Select Restart now under Advanced startup.
    4. After the PC restarts, you'll see the Choose an option screen.
    5. Click Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
    6. Your PC will restart and you'll see a list of options, press 4 or F4 on your keyboard to start in Safe Mode.

Let us know if the issue still occurs in Safe Mode.

Please update us on the outcome.

This is the first time that the issue has occurred and no recent changes have been made.
