I would like to copy \windows\system32\utilman2 to \windows\system32\utilman.

I have administrator privilege.

There is some problem with ownership.

Something called trustedinstaller owns the file and will not allow the copy to occure.

The administrator appears to have full access to the file, but still cannot do the copy.

windows 10 is a crock!

Hi Thomas,

The folder that you are trying to copy may be only edited or moved by a certain user only. What we can recommend is taking ownership of the said folder. To do this, we recommend that you follow the steps provided in this article. The steps can also be applied to Windows 10.

Feel free to contact us if you need assistance with Windows.
