Microsoft IIS server does not support SFTP (or SSH), on any version of IIS or Windows.

Microsoft IIS server supports secure FTP (FTPS or FTP over TLS/SSL)

    They're dedicated forums for IIS - https://forums.iis.net/

As previously metioned, Microsoft's IIS Server does not directly support SFTP or any of the other services which run over SSH (like SCP, Shell, etc).

If you need SFTP support on your Windows Server, you would want to install a third party SFTP Server specifically built and optimized for Windows Servers, such as our Titan SFTP Server.

Full Disclosure: I work for South River Technologies so I'm a bit bias....our Titan Server has been vetted on over 20,000 Windows boxes in 170 countries over the last 20 years and has full support for SFTP on Windows. It's available as an on-prem solution and also available as a PAYG solution in the Azure Commercial and Government Marketplaces

you need to install FTP and then assign a SSL for FTP service in IIS. Enable "Require SSL" option for FTP service so it can be accessed only with SSL. For this, you need a dedicated SSL installed on server
